TALON: hybrid education

TALON – the Teaching and Learning Online Network is a University of Calgary project made possible by Richard Parker Initiative (RPI). hub for critical discussion new emerging education approaches tools. Born in early stages pandemic, shortly following shutdown in-person classes across globe, we seek to document ongoing changes within higher share thoughts, ideas, experiences about online, blended hybrid education. TALON's initiatives include A-Z resources, monthly newsletters, interviews with academic professionals students, activations various publications. Combined, projects serve as an interactive lexicon remote teaching learning. We keep community informed current developments virtual classroom connected through discussion. Questions such as: What are opportunities challenges education? equipment needed effective learning? How can face-to-face, other 'out class' activities be integrated foster student success? assessment methods work well classroom? Is learning future addressed discussed.
